Wong Kwang Han is a filmmaker, theatre maker, actor, director and writer. He was a co-founder of Aporia Society, a multi-disciplinary art group that started in 1997. He was also a co-founder of the independent and now defunct arts journal A4ria and contributed regularly to the critical discourse on Singapore theatre in the nineties. He has written and directed several plays which were performed in intimate settings under Aporia Society. His plays have been nominated for the LIfe! Theatre awards and have been performed at international theatre festivals. Presently he is working in the medium of film. His two feature films have been shown at international film festivals around the world as well as educational institutions. He is also active as an acting instructor and teacher, having been the resident acting teacher at The Substation for many years. He teaches regularly at educational institutions and gives workshops on acting, voice and improvisation.
